After 9 days of cooking for the Guinness World Record Attempt, Chef Failatu is set to conclude the cooking marathon tomorrow at 10 am, marking an impressive 240 hours of cooking various dishes.

This achievement breaks the record held by previous record holders and any other person who attempted the record, pending official approval. The cook-a-thon, which took place at the modern city hotel in Tamale, saw celebrities from all walks of life, high-profile government officials, MPs, ministers, and business moguls visiting Tamale. The event boosted economic activities and promoted the culture of the north to the entire world.

Naa Damba, manager of Chef Faila at the Guinness World Record cooking marathon in Tamale, has confirmed to Lifestyle TV that Chef Faila will conclude her Guinness World record-setting journey tomorrow, Wednesday, January 10, 2024. He noted that the 10-day-long event will climax at 10 am, with a duration of about 220 hours, a remarkable 72-hour period more than the current record holder’s.
