Shatta Wale Stone Boy will host flop concerts in Tamale — Maccasio speaks
United Kingdom (UK) Ghana Music Awards Dancehall Song Of The Year 2019 Winner, Rapper Maccasio angrily talks about Shatta Wale and Stone Boy's ill-treatment in Ghana.
Ghanaian musician Sherif Abdul Majeed household name Maccasio during a discussion with Sammy Flex opens up that, Stone Boy and Shatta Wale would have a flop concert in the North whenever they planned to host one after they treated him unsatisfactorily.
Success stands not final, disappointment is not destructive: it is the bravery to continue that count. A little more diligence, a little more exertion, and what seemed hopeless failure may turn into glorious success.
Maccasio says the two artists have treated him poorly. Although he indicates that he is not bigger than Shatta Wale or Stone Boy, and it looks like they are trying to look down upon him, meanwhile, everyone has strong music home support, however, he (Maccasio) has a loyal fan base that can’t be underrated.
Making a heavy submission that, any artist who he has ever supported, and later maybe that fellow turns to treat him badly like the above-mentioned artists, would see his worthiness in the game. Adding that, sometimes, it’s not just about the money, but a good relationship with people.
Collaboratively, years back, Maccasio and Shatta Wale did a lot of great things by featuring each other in a song. And then again staged a show at Tamale’s Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium called the “Too Big” concert.
Quite recently, Stone Boy was also featured on Maccasio’s Glory Album titled “Eyes On You”. This particular track was at Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) 2023 in the dancehall song of the year category but unfortunately, he couldn’t win that award.
