Atule Joseph Atanga, popularly known as Gh Blinks, has graduated from the Tamale College of Education with First Class Honors in English and Ghanaian Language (Dagbani) with a focus on Junior High School Education. His journey, which began in 2019, culminated in 2023, and he proudly walked across the stage in 2024 to receive his well-deserved degree.
Throughout his time at the College, Gh Blinks made an indelible mark on the student body. He served as the Public Relations Officer for the Debating Club, Languages Department, and Entertainment Committee, contributing to a vibrant campus culture while honing his leadership skills.
Balancing academics with a burgeoning career in blogging, Gh Blinks has established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the Ghanaian blogging community. His passion for storytelling and mentoring the next generation of bloggers has earned him significant recognition and accolades.
While in his third year at the College, Gh Blinks secured his second career award as the Northern Ghana Tertiary Students Awards 2021 Most Influential Student Blogger/Writer of the Year. This achievement came on the heels of his first major accolade, the Upper East Music Awards 2020 Blogger of the Year, which he won as a second-year student. His success story continued with a third award in 2023 when he once again claimed the title of Blogger of the Year at the Upper East Music Awards.
In addition to these awards, Gh Blinks has garnered over seven citations of honor from various prestigious award schemes and events, further solidifying his status as a prominent figure in the media landscape. His contributions have not gone unnoticed, as he currently serves as one of the academy members for the Telecel Ghana Music Awards, formerly known as VGMA, as well as two other award schemes.
