Failatu Abdul-Razak’s cook-a-thon has not only filled the air with delightful aromas but has also led to valuable partnerships that will boost tourism in Ghana. The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) and Zaina Lodge have come forward to offer enticing packages for her and the family when the event comes to an end.
Mr. Angelo Yossi Dogbe, GTA’s Northern Regional Director, has been a constant presence throughout the marathon, showing unwavering support. In addition to the already allocated funds and essentials, he has announced that additional contributions will be made post-event. The highlight of these contributions is a two-day luxury stay at Zaina Lodge in Mole National Park for Failatu and her family, with a value exceeding $1,000.
Dogbe commended Failatu for not only captivating an audience with delicious food but also for providing them with an immersive experience of the rich culture of northern Ghana. He encouraged tourists to explore the region and discover its unique charm.
The GTA has recognized the event’s potential, not only as a culinary celebration but also as a means of promoting tourism in northern Ghana. This partnership showcases the power of culinary events in driving tourism and cultural exploration, further highlighting the impact of Chef Failatu’s cook-a-thon beyond the culinary world.
