The Ghana Football Association has expressed concern for former Chelsea and Newcastle forward, Christian Atsu, who was reportedly trapped under debris following the earthquake in Turkey.
Atsu and Hatayspor Sporting Director, Taner Savut, were both affected by the quake. The Ghana FA has called for fans to pray for both Atsu and the victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
They are also working to establish contact with officials from Hatayspor and the Turkish Football Federation in light of the difficult situation.
Newcastle has also added their prayers for positive news.
