How will the world recognise us if we fight each other? – Rocky Dawuni

2022 Grammy nominee Ghanaian Reggae sensation Rocky Dawuni has advised that the only way Ghanaian artistes can gain more world recognition is by avoiding competition and fighting among themselves. He urged them to stay together for a common purpose. Rocky observed that the Ghanaian music industry is on a good trajectory. But until the habit of togetherness and standing in for one another is cultivated, the pendulum will never swing. Speaking to Akoma FM’s flagship Entertainment 360 host, Tony Best, on Saturday, the 2022 Global Music performance nominee indicated he is not competing with anyone. And his works speak for him. Davido marks 30th Birthday in silence, quietly

You are grateful, not a braggart – Akwaboah

According to Ghanaian singer Akwaboah, posting your success on social media does not make you a showoff. He encourages all to post their first-timers as often as they want in his new song, ‘Picture’, featuring Medikal. “Those memories, sometimes when you post them on social and stuff, it’s not because you are trying to show off. You had a new job, you bought your first car, and you just gave birth for the first time. Some say it’s not good. But you are posting because you are grateful for having something for the first time. It’s not because you are trying to show off.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by AKWABOAH (@akwaboahmusic) Akwaboah also shared…
