The Guinness World Record official cook-a-thon Attempt is currently underway at Modern City Hotel on Day 8. Chef Failatu’s energy has doubled ever since her team announced the extension of the cook-a-thon from 5 days to 10 days. The entire country has rallied behind her to support her as she puts Ghana on the map.

Unofficially, Failatu has broken all records, including Alan Fisher’s official record as the longest cooking marathon holder from Ireland with his restaurant in Japan. As the chef continues with the cooking marathon, let’s appreciate the people behind the scenes who worked from the initial thought to the realization of the cook-a-thon and are still working day and night.

Meet Naa Damba, Chef Failatu’s Manager, an entertainment pundit, presenter, founder, and manager of DM TV and DMTVONLINE.COM. Damba was the first to make it public and has since been at every promotional event, meeting, setting up the kitchen, getting sponsors, liaising with media personnel, and everyone that matters for the success of the cook-a-thon. Naa Damba has not had a proper sleep since the beginning of the cooking marathon and has been equally supporting the marathon.

He has since located his entire staff from videographers, photographers, bloggers, etc., to the ground to help Chef Faila in this all-important record-breaking attempt. So far, Faila has cooked over 170+ hours and counting on day 8. Naa Damba must be praised and celebrated for the amazing support from day 1 and still counting.

The Guinness World Record official cook-a-thon Attempt is an incredible feat that showcases the determination and skill of Chef Failatu and her team. It’s a testament to their hard work and dedication that they have been able to keep going for so long.

The support from Naa Damba and everyone involved behind the scenes is truly commendable and shows the power of teamwork and collaboration. As the cook-a-thon continues, let’s continue to show our support for Chef Failatu and her team as they strive to make history and put Ghana on the map in the culinary world.
