Renowned politician cum business man and Mion Constituency NPP Youth organizer, who is also a veteran media personality Mohammed Abubakari Naporo aka Dj Parara Majority leader, has open a new radio station in the north, the Majority Radio.
Rumors about his radio has been speculating for a while and today it been confirmed with the beginning of test transmission today.

The development is the result of the efforts of dedicated individuals who have worked hard to bring the industry to where it is today.
These industry players, who could be considered game changers, have contributed to the rise of northern showbiz. One such key player is Mohammed Abubakari Naporo, better known as DJ Parara or Majority Leader.
He was born in Nyankpala on May 11, 1984, and had his basic education there.
He later pursued a passion for media by enrolling in Abesim School of Radio and Television in Sunyani after completing high school in Tamale.
DJ Parara made his radio debut in 2007 at North Star FM and spent almost a decade there.
He also furthered his education in marketing while at North Star and established Northern Entertainment Concept with other industry players.
The company organized successful concerts, but eventually, DJ Parara and DJ Mezz formed a new company, North Linkz Entertainment, which also staged successful events.
DJ Parara also registered his own company, PARARA ENTERTAINMENT, which specializes in event organization, artist management, and film production.
Under PARARA ENTERTAINMENT, he discovered and supported artists like Lil K, Ataaka, Fancy Gadam, and others.
He also produced the successful movie “Dagbon Politics” which won him several accolades and contracts from reputable NGOs.
