SHATTA WALE’s fans in Northern Ghana demand an explanation to a verse in his song titled RISING YOUTH.

In an interview with DMTv in Tamale, Mr. Alhassan Mohammed, a northern based businessman and a consultant, drew the attention of the youth in the north to rise against a verse in Shatta Wale’s song titled Rising Youth, which in his opinion the statement sounds demeaning to Northerners.

In his submission, he urged the youth to contact Shatta to explain that particular verse before any action can be taken.

‘We understand music is for entertainment, education and information. We were initially entertaining ourselves with the song until our attention was drawn to that verse which says’:
“…if I come from the North, water ago bath, 20 _Buckets…”

Why, SHATTA? The youth demand an explanation from you.
