Another individual suspected of participating in the theft of money from Cecilia Dapaah’s residence has been released on bail. This makes the total count of people granted bail three.

Earlier, two individuals were granted bail due to their status as breastfeeding mothers.

During a court session in Accra on August 22, 2023, Job Pomary, the sixth accused, had his lawyers request bail for him. Allegedly, he collaborated with the fifth accused, Christiana Achab, to buy a four-bedroom house in Kokrobite for GH¢280,000 using funds supposedly stolen from the former sanitation minister’s home.

The prosecution did not contest the bail plea.

He was granted bail at GH¢300,000 with two responsible sureties.

At the same time, the two breastfeeding mothers remain in custody since they haven’t met the bail requirements.
